2009 Shufflers at Guzzlers-1st Game of the Season - 2 views

The 1st game of the season kicked off with a bang. The games started at 20h15 with 22 players and opening blinds of 100/200. Steadily, with a few drinks the pace picked up along with the jokes.

It was great to see all types of poker players from the ”i dunno how to play this game, wink wink”  to the ”my mouth is bigger than my game’ player.

After 2 hours of playing and ten gallons of beer later, we eventually got to the final table of eight. The heat was on and the sun glasses came out! The bluffers were put to task as they were slowly put out to graze from going all in with ‘nada’!

The final two were Bryan Botha and Kyle Nichols-both played a great game of poker but the cards seemed to favor Bryan.Bryan pulled away with call on Kyles all-in strategy.

It was great to see such that everybody was having such a good time and playing quality poker. Congrats to all the players who took part and keep shuffling!
