Team Poker Shuffle Represents Once Again - 0 views

Pokershuffle11 and myself,All-in Stefk, took part in the daily African freeroll on Full Tilt. This is a very nice tournament as you get to compete against African residents only for a prize pool of about $50. Top 18 places get paid from $2-$5.

The field is usually around 250 players, with a bunch of South Africans. We both started out nicely, staying out of the initial 15min frenzy of all-ins and then settled down with some ”serious” poker.

This time i was chip leader for about half the game, when i decided to p[ortect my chip stack and cruise through to the final 18. Pokershuffle11 on the other hand had a tough game, deciding to play it safe and choose her hand wisely. With about 50 players left, she was short stacked and in danger. Within 3 hands she multiplied her chip stack by 5 and cruised to 1st place and the rest is history.

We both made final table with reasonably short stacks but good enough to have a go. Pokershuffle11 placed 6 and i made it to heads-up against BIGKLAOUI. I manged to put him on tilt at a stage with 300 000 to me and 100 000 odd to him but then a shove by me with AA proved to be a wrong move. I managed to finish 2nd and bag a few dollars more.

What an awesome poker game it was. Tight but aggressive play from the start. Was a nice and challenging free-roll with abit of talent on the tables =D

Game was good but we should of gone heads up…would have been rad!

Yeah that would of being even better. I needed to play more aggressive towards the end to pick up my chip stack then i could of dominated more..

Nah you played well, it comes to a stage where luck plays a big role and you just got outlucked
