Recap: Poker Shuffle Season 2-Bryan Botha the Champion - 0 views

The table was made of a quality field of poker players, ranging from the tight aggressive players, the grinders and the loose aggressive players.

Ricky Collins took the honors in finishing tops on the league with points, beating Trevor Nunes by 5 points. Heading into the final table, Ricky looked strong to take the spoils overall but not without a challenge from the rest of the field.

Gerold Druker was the wild card for the evening and ensured his seat to the final table by winning the big stack shootout.

From the start, there was a frenzy around the table with most of the players playing very tight poker…almost too cautious.

Gerold took it to the players, playing aggressively and picking up the chips each round by out betting. There was some interchanging play and chips moved around until and hour into the game until we had our first casualty- Reza Abrahams.

From this moment onwards, the play opened up and the rest is history. Bryan Botha headed up against Brian Stotter in a fierce battle. Bryan ‘Queens and Eights’ Botha took his chances with 10 4 suited and the gamble payed off.
