Play Happy Poker - 3 views

I recently went on a massive down swing in my live game. My results were dismal to say the least!

I played in 18 straight games and busted out 1st in all of them but at the same time, my online game has been thriving. Could it be that i have a poor poker face?

I read an article on another poker site and they said that studies show that people who play with strong and stern faces tend to have players play into them with strength.

On the other hand, players that played with friendly and happy faces had players play into them with weaker and lighter hands.

I changed my approach and smiledĀ  at my last 3 tournaments…and guess what? I cashed in all of them and finished in the top 2 at worst! The interesting aspect was that i smiled so much that most of the players saw it as a threat.

Food for thought: Play Friendly Poker
