Mike Barfoot wins Poker Shuffle Season 5 - 3 views
Poker Shuffle Season 5 Finale was an evening to remember with solid action from the word go in the Wild Card Event.
All the Poker Shuffle members took part in the Wild Card Event to fight for the valuable 10th seat to the Final Table. Monster hands were dealt until a 4 way game took place with Tanith Rothman, Malcolm Stockdale, Wynne Julius and Stef Kruger(myself). Tanith took the Wild Card Seat, making amends for her narrow miss in the qualification rounds the week before.
The final table took their seats along with their coverted Final Table Bangles.

The Final Table was packed with loads of action and quality poker was on display. Positional play was the name of the game with the occasional bluff and power shove to unsettle a few players. The final three showdown was between Ashley Kempson, Mike Barfoot and Ricky Collins and went down to the wire.
Ashley Kempson earned 3rd place after a fantastic season and Ricky coming back from 2000 chips when the blinds were 5000/10000 to finish 2nd in solid ‘Rocky’ fashion. Ricky also manged to top the Seasons League Points and take the win!
Mike Barfoot was crowned Poker Shuffle Champion for Season 5. Mikes solid play was well respected by all players, especially pre-flop and proved that solid play and a strong table image is vital to taking down pots and winning tournaments.
