In the modern day poker world, online poker is the forerunner in reaching the masses and attracting new players to poker. This brings along it very own laws which are ''governed'' by the poker rooms. Every poker room has its very own Terms and Conditions, so always be sure to read them first before you download and register. In many respects, these Terms and Conditions are set out to protect the players rights and protect them from fraudsters and fraudulent activities such as collusion etc. The main 'law' is that of having only one account per household. Yes, you read correctly! Players are not allowed to create, use, or deposit to more than one account. Violators of this rule are subject to an account review which may lead to account suspension and forfeiture of accumulated funds. This also extends to the fact that you may only have one account per poker room per household! This has raised many issues within the poker community due the fact that most households(including my own) is made of avid poker lovers. How do we get around this problem? The answer is fairly simple, each member should choose one poker room to play in and remember not to multi-account ;-) Id be keen to hear your thoughts on this issue.
